Social

Greetings friend and welcome to the our social pages.

Tadworth Athletic Club actively encourages and supports social gatherings for our members and their families whether they be runners or non-runners.  We believe in our community and open our arms to potential members of all shapes, sizes and abilities – all we ask is for you to get involved.

We have a number of well established social occasions during the year:

  • Dick Clark Murder Mile (Annual run in memory of a founding member)
  • March Head Scratcher (Annual pub quiz)
  • Summer Handicap Series (Various locations around and about)
  • Midsummer Madness (Summer pubcrawl)
  • Autumn Marathon Weekend
  • Christmas Meal (usually held at The Chequers; Walton-on-the-Hill)
  • Regular Club nights (again typically held at Chequers; Walton-on-the-Hill)

In addition to these established occasions we arrange adhoc nights out to local hostelries and eateries.

In June we hold a Family Day at a local sports field, with lots of fun events for the children and their parents.

Feel free to talk to any of our members at our home Parkrun at Banstead or join us for either a weekend run or at one of our handicap races.  You can also keep up to date with news via our and pages.

On a lighter note why not keep up to date with the travels of Taddie our club mascot – quite a jet-setter!

Best regards

Colin Woods
