By Car
Tattenham Corner is 3 miles North of Junction 8 of the M25. Follow the A217, and turn on to Reigate Road (A240) at the first set of lights after the Dorking Road roundabout (by the Shell garage). Carry on past ASDA then turn left at the next junction into Great Tattenhams (B2221). If coming from the North on the A217, turn right at the second set of lights after the Banstead crossroad into Tattenham Way (B221) and continue on to Tattenam Corner. Those coming from other directions should head for Epsom, which is on the A24, and take the B290 Ashley Road.
Satnav owners should enter the postcode KT18 5LQ for the Race HQ at the Grandstand. This postcode should also be used for smartphone apps.
Car parking will be available within the Grandstand site, giving easy access to the HQ. If this becomes full marshalls will direct you to an overflow car park. There are public car parks in the vicinity, and if you decide to use them please park considerately as they will not be marshalled.
Public Transport
Public transport to the racecourse is limited on a Sunday. There are two nearby BR stations. Epsom Downs is closed on Sundays.
Tattenham Corner is the closest, only a 1/2 mile walk. There is a twice an hour service from London Bridge via East Croydon.
Epsom is a mainline station with trains arriving from both Victoria and Waterloo every half hour. There is a 1.5 mile walk along Ashley Road (B290) to the Grandstand, most of it uphill! Bus 460/480 runs from outside the Santander Bank in the High Street, Stop K, departing at 8.45am, 9.25am and 10.45am. This is easy to spot as it is the only blue bus operating from Epsom. The bus takes about 7 minutes to arrive at the Grandstand, where you can collect your number and timing chip.
